Gus`s Hot Dogs in Adamsville

Love the cheese burger, the special dog, and the hot beef sandwich. Food is always fresh and hot. Fries are tasty & just right. Even the soft drinks have the perfect combination of good cold fizz. Do I know anyone here in a personal way or is any of my extended family related? NO! Ordinary hole in the wall? Maybe so. Great fast food, but fresh enough to not be too fast? Yes. Hard working ladies to help you? Yes. Perfect? Well, no. But I always tip because it's always worth it. I've never had a bad meal here and I've had hundreds. The burgers are better than any of the chains. Now, during these corona blue days get over there and give them your business!

i have been going here since i was a teen, today was the worst, the cashier lady had a very rude attitude with me, never said hello, nor goodbye, when i went to pay, she got a very nasty attitude, slammed pin on the counter about not taking debit cards, so i paid with cash, not sure what her problem was with me, but i will not be back, and here i am a combat wounded veteran, felt completely unwelcome by you, and the price is very high, $21.and some change for 8 hotdogs and 3 fries with spots, that is way to much for the food that is served and the attitude. i do not recommend this place

First off they don't take cards cash only. It's 2017 who doesn't take cards any more? Secondly I got a chilli cheese slaw dog the chilli isn't that good the hot dog it self was tiny. half a slice of American cheese, I have had a better hot dog amd even chilli dog at gas stations and truck stops. For a quick in and out there are not many choices in the area. Subway isn't far but that's about it unless you go further down the road. If there was something else close gus wouldn't be open much longer

Tried this place once with a friend and I am hooked since then. I like the awesome mood and delightful dishes and beverages. Fantastic work.

While I never been there but buy what I've read and seen in the pictures it looks like a place of good food and family.i know i will be stopping in its always nice to have a place that makes u feel like home.and by what I see and hear that's the place.

The best food in town.

Gus's is a quick serve, good ol' fashioned hot dog stand kinda place. Excellent dogs, decent polish sausage and really good homemade chicken salad. The friendly ladies behind the counter are an added bonus. I am a 5 all the way kinda guy, with the occasional foray into the chili/slaw arena. They never diappoint. If you find yourself in Adamsville and want some locally owned goodness, Gus's is the place to go.

Awesome dogs

We ordered three hot dogs and the waitress wrote our orders down; they were correct. However, the cooks got ALL OF OUR ORDERS INCORRECT. These people need to improve, I have no idea how you screw up like that. Three unsatisfied customers just left this restaurant.

This restaurant is certainly one of the coolest place to eat in the area. Anytime I visit this place I am awfully glad. They maintain their very high standard service and the highest level of cooking they serve. You are always happy with this place. Warmly recommended.

I've always loved God's hotdogs ever since I was a little kid. I grew up on them. And when I went into this location after working in the area for almost 2 years I was ready for somewhat of a nostalgic flashback to my childhood and also a satisfying lunch. Only to my disappointment after I order was I to find out that this place only accepted cash and all I had that day was my card. With very limited time left on my lunch break I was left without my chilli cheese dogs and French fries and a quick timelapse back to my youth. I will be returning soon with cash in hand but to be honest I should rate this place lower than a 3 because in this day in age, what restaraunt or venue selling lunch doesn't have a credit card machine???

Stopped in today for a burger and fries due to the proximity to the school I work at and the reviews. I’m glad I did! A customer suggested the slaw dog after I ordered a cheeseburger combo. The slaw is tasty and makes the hot dog! The fries were piping hot and the burger was well dressed. The ladies are kind and focused! My only regret is that I was so excited I forgot to leave a tip. I’ll stop by and rectify that tomorrow!
